Rudi Prusa is Manager of Sales for Physical Security’s Florida Operations, specializing in the preconstruction and design-assist phases of technically demanding projects. With over 20 years in the glazing industry, he has spent the last 12 years as a foundational member of the PS team, spearheading the Florida division from its inception in 2013.
Growing up and beginning his career in the Chicago area, Rudi brings a spirit of architectural innovation to the Florida team. This has been key to his success in pushing the envelope with protective glazing systems, establishing the division as a leader in complex, owner-occupied specialty projects, which has been the core of his work.
His extensive portfolio includes some of Florida’s most significant and challenging projects, including the Aventura Optima, the state’s first hurricane-rated double-skin façade, the Hertz Corporate Headquarters, and numerous complex healthcare projects with extensive AHCA requirements.
Rudi holds a degree in Business and Telecommunications from Michigan State University. His professional credentials include a Florida Construction License, LEAN Certification, and accreditations as a GANA Estimator and an AIA Presenter.
